For me, the first impression is very crucial in our life because it will determine how people will look at you in the future. For example, if you don't behave well in front of your future parents-in-law during the first meeting, in the future when you are married to their sons, they will not be having good impression towards you. It can be changed, but will be very difficult. So, how are you going to live with them and face them for the rest of your life? I'm not sure whether you get my point or not, but that's my point. Absorb it please!
My first impression towards orang utagha is really bad because of particular persons. When I first entered CFS or foundation studies, it was the first time I got to meet people from various states, and I had a very clean and pure mind at first especially towards orang utagha, until one day there was a person who had changed my mind and perception. I tell you from my point of view, from my sight, from everything that I had watched in front of my eyes.
We were classmates during the first semester of foundation studies, and she behaved so bad in my opinion. Her style of talking was very rude and really annoyed me. She loved to jeling jeling tajam and I couldn't imagine how rude she was. And in the class, she had her gang, also from utagha, had same behavior. Because of her, I had a very bad impression towards orang utagha. I'm sorry orang utagha, I'm being so honest right now.
Fortunately, there were some friends from utagha who were really nice and kind, had changed my perception towards them. And now, do you know that, that person (rude person) is my classmate? OHH MY GOD, I was so shocked when I found out that we were going to be classmates, two years ago, when we met during the interview session. But now, I'm always trying to be positive and set my mind not to judge anyone. She is nice though, even though she still has a bit of her keutaghaan style that I once hated, but so far our relationship is going so well. Maybe, I was not used to her utagha style back then, because most of utagha people who I met have the same talking style. It might appear rude to me but maybe that's their identity.
P/S: We don't know if someone doesn't like our talking style, the dialect we use. Hmm what I'm talking about? So always be positive and be kind. Let's spread kindness. I'm hungry, I want pizza!
